A few useful answers
Before you book.
Which is better: a wired or wireless alarm?
The right choice depends on your building, existing wiring and installation preferences. Wireless can reduce cabling and disruption; wired or hybrid options may suit properties with usable cable routes. We will explain the options after assessing your property.
Can you upgrade my existing alarm or CCTV?
Often, some equipment can be retained. We first check its condition, compatibility and whether it still meets your needs. We then explain the benefits and limits of an upgrade compared with replacement.
Can I control my security system from my phone?
Compatible systems can offer app control, alerts or remote video viewing. The available features depend on the selected equipment, connectivity and any associated service plan. We explain those details in your proposal and help with setup.
How much will a system cost?
The cost depends on the equipment, coverage, installation work and support options. Your survey helps us prepare a tailored quotation, so you can see what is included and decide with confidence.
Do you provide servicing and maintenance?
Yes. We offer alarm and CCTV servicing and can discuss a maintenance arrangement suited to your installation. Remote diagnostics may also be available on supported systems.
Will an alarm meet my insurer’s requirements?
If your insurer has specified requirements, share them with us before equipment is selected. We can discuss whether our proposed installation can meet those requirements. App alerts alone should not be treated as professional monitoring or a guaranteed police response.
What should I have ready for the survey?
Your postcode, a brief description of your concerns and any details of your existing alarm or CCTV are a useful start. For a business, include how the premises are used. If your insurer has issued security requirements, have those available too.
